The Begetter   The Seed of the Word   The Truth   Born of the Holy Spirit   Born of the Water
James 1:18 I Peter 1:23 I Peter 1:22 John 3:6 John 3:5
"Of his own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his  creatures."
"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."
"Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:"
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
Titus 3:5 I Peter 3:20, 21
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"
"20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:"
I Peter 1:22
"Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:"

A Washing of Cleansing   Forgiveness or Remission of Sins   Made Alive   New Creature   Must Be Born Again
Titus 3:5 Colossians 2:13 Colossians 2:13 II Corinthians 5:17 John 3:5
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"
"And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;"
"And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;"
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

"Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

Ephesians 5:26 Acts 2:38 Romans 6:4 Galatians 6:15 I Peter 1:23
"That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,"
Text Box: This regeneration occurs when one hears the Word of Truth, receives the Word of God as Truth and Obeys the Truth by submitting to the Holy Spirit's words.
When one Obeys the Truth, he is born of the Spirit in Baptism where he is given the Holy Spirit as he is being washed in water. He is born again, cleansed and
sins forgiven with the gift of the Holy Spirit. He is saved and added to the Church of Christ. This is what it means to be made a New Creature. The old man is
dead and a new man is raised from the dead in Christ. He is alive and thereby added to the Family of God. Acts 2:47.
See Acts 2 for the Preaching of the Word and where all the Ingredients of Salvation are present.
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for  the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature."
"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."

Child of God
Galatians 3:26, 27
"26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."
