A Modern Version Of Genesis Chapter 3

Now the
educator was wiser than ordinary folk that the Lord God had made. And the educator said unto the young girl,
“Yea, hath God said you shall not have sex with anyone?”
And the young
girl said unto the educator, “We may have sex with the man we marry but of the
rest of the people in the midst of the earth, God has said, ‘Ye shall abstain
from them, neither shall ye touch them, lest ye die.’”
And the
educator said unto the young girl, “Ye shall not surely die, for God doth know
that if you engage in sex you will be independent and free and be as adults to
choose what is good and evil for yourself!”
And when the
young girl saw a new boy she liked that bought her food and he was handsome to
her eye and that he made her feel wise, she decided to give herself to him and
he did fornicate with her.
And the eyes
of them both were opened and they knew what they had done and they made weak
excuses to cover up their behavior. And
they heard the voice of the Lord God thundering from the pulpit in the Church
the next day and they hid themselves in the crowd.
And the Lord
said unto them, “Where are thou?”
And the boy
said in his heart, “I heard the sermon and I was afraid because I was guilty
and I hid myself.”
And the Lord
said, “Who told you that you sinned?
Have you had sex out of marriage which I commanded you not to do?”
And the boy
said, “The young girl that you created so beautifully, she tempted me and I did
fornicate.”
And the Lord
said to the young girl, “What is this you have done?”
And the young
girl said, “The educator deceived me and I did fornicate.”
And the Lord
said to the educator, “Because you have done this, you are cursed above all
ordinary folk. You shall have no
respect and shall be humiliated and teach the rebellious children of those you
have deceived all the days of your life and I will put enmity between you and
the young girl and between your students and her children and they shall crush
your head but you shall not so much as touch their heel.”
Unto the girl
He said, “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception, in sorrow
shall you bring forth children and your desire shall be to your live-in and he
shall dominate and abuse you and your children.”
And unto the
boy He said, “Because you listened to the young girl and had sex out of
marriage with her which I commanded and said, ‘Thou shalt not have sex except
with your wife’, cursed is the earth for your sake and you shall have
difficulties all the days of your life.
Life shall be tough, jobs shall be difficult. In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread until you rot into
the ground, for dust you are and unto dust shall you return. Welfare, child support and unemployment
await you.”
And the boy called the girl, “old lady”,
because she would be the mother of his illegitimate children!
